Megan has been involved with gymnastics for over 25 years, and has over 17 years of coaching experience. Her dedication to the sport earned her the RIUSAG State Service Award in 2015.
In 2014, Megan was presented with the Coach of the Year Award for high school gymnastics from the RIIL, while her team won the Sportsmanship Award. With over 11 years of dance training, Megan is in charge of choreography for all competitive programs.
While in college, Megan competed for the RIC Gymnastics team and achieved scores that remain in the top 10 record books on both Balance Beam and Floor Exercise. In 2006, Megan qualified for the Division III National Championships on Balance Beam, and earned 2nd Team All-American Honors on that event.
While in High School, Megan was named MVP of her gymnastics team 3 years in a row, and earned All-Division, All-State, and All-New England Honors. In 2002, she also represented the state of Rhode Island at the Senior National Invitational Meet in Las Vegas, NV.
In past years, Megan has served as the assistant director at Rita Beaulieu Gymnastics, director for the Rhode Island College Gymnastics Camp, and coached the West Warwick and Coventry High School Gymnastics Teams.
Megan enjoys sharing her passion with her gymnasts, striving to make them the best that they can be! She is a strong role model for her gymnasts in and out of the gym; both parents and gymnasts are very receptive to her warm, kind-hearted demeanor.
Beginning gymnastics at the age of 3, Courtney excelled as a Prep Optional Advanced gymnast in her final years as a USAG competitor. Continuing to pursue the sport she loved while attending Rhode Island College, Courtney captained the gymnastics team during both her Junior and Senior years. Her best season came in 2013 as she qualified for the Division III National Championships on Balance Beam. She earned MVP honors for her team while at RIC during both the 2010-2011 and 2012-2013 seasons.
In her final season, Courtney was presented with the prestigious ECAC Athlete of the Year Award for her amazing talents, leadership, and true persona of a DIII collegiate gymnast. Courtney graduated magna cum laude in 2014 with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science and a minor in coaching.
During high school, Courtney earned All-State and All-Division honors, captained her team, and represented the State of Rhode Island at the 2010 Senior National Gymnastics Invitational Meet in Florida. Courtney was also named Most Spirited on her high school team, and she continues to be a great role model and inspiration to the girls she coaches, encouraging them with her genuine, energetic spirit!
Haley is entering her 7th year of coaching as she joins the staff at Anchor Gymnastics. Starting gymnastics at the age of 8, Haley graduated in 2012 as a Level 9 gymnast at Rita Beaulieu Gymnastics.
Haley is currently continuing to pursue her gymnastics goals while attending the University of Rhode Island, where she competes for their club team. Studying Physical Education, Haley hopes that the values and lessons will overlap to help both her teaching and her coaching.
While in high school, Haley was named MVP of her team, earned numerous All-State and All-Division award honors, and qualified for the New England Championships all 4 years. She also represented the state of Rhode Island in the 2012 Senior National Invitational Meet in Florida. Haley continues to awe the younger gymnasts with her talents, and enjoys working with them to achieve all of their own personal gymnastics goals.
